Blog deprieved

So life has pretty much been crazy and I seriously never have time to get on her anymore! I tend to over plan and for this there is no blog land time, so I'm sorry to all those that haven't got there Dakota fixing :)

I do have to say we are sooooo lucky to have the best little girl! For the past month she has going to bed at around 9 pm and then will either wake up at either 4 or 6! Amazing right! Then during the day she is so laid back and just goes with the flow! Don't get me wrong she does have her moments, but they are few and typically she is a happy, smiling chunk of love!!!

Over Memorial Day weekend we took Dakota for her first camping trip! She LOVED it and was once again the perfect baby! She loves her front pack so for the majority of the time she was hanging out with everyone around the fire or cooking food! Packing for a camping trip with a baby is a little extreme but all worth it! Thank god we have a truck and a suv b/c we need the room for these sort of trips! Mommy did over pack a little, but better to be over prepared then under right :)

Dakota also this month rolled over! She still can't figure out how to roll back over but she is getting so strong and will be sitting up in no time! She has amazing neck and back strength and is totally knows her name now! She is growing so fast it's crazy!!!

Four Months!!!

How is Dakota already 4 months? Time has went by so fast its crazy!! Every day I wake up and she has seriously grown another inch!!

Oly Girl at Arts Walk!!

Monday Wedding Purchases

Got to love Etsy! Was my addiction when I was planning and decorating Dakota's nursery and now is for wedding decor! You can find the most cute and unique items on there! Here are two things that I purchased today!

Cameron's ring bearer pillow! I originally had bought a plain brown one but once I saw these burlap ones I was sold! Will add a good texture to the wedding!

Calling All Mason Jars!!

So you maybe wondering what mason jars have to do with Dakota, but I have decided to integrate our wedding on our blog too and with the first post being about Mason Jars!! David and I want to have a really fun, rustic/country, unique wedding and so far have got a lot of good ideas! This week I'm concentrating on table decorations! I have found a few websites that have shown Mason jars being used as candles holders, vases, and pictures frames and I totally love the idea and going with it! It's perfect for our country style wedding! Here are a few pictures that I have found! Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas of what we can do with them let me know! So far I have a few boxes of jars for Shannon but if any one else has some we can borrow that would be AMAZING!!!

My Mommy Style

I have seen these quiz on a few blogs that I follow so I thought I would take the quiz to see what my Mommy style was! It's crazy how my results match up to a lot of who I am!

Like the other Mommy's that have taken this quiz I am also the ENTJ or Executive Mother! Since Dakota is so young I based a lot of my answers on how I'm with my nephew Cameron or seeing myself doing in the future with little Dakota!

3 MONTHS!!!!

Holy moly our baby girl is 3 months! Okay she in 12 weeks today, but I guess not three months till the 16th of April.... still trying to understand that whole thing :)

Addicted!!

When Dakota was in  my belly my main Etsy addiction was all the amazing hats they have! However now that she has so much hair I love to show it off so my new Etsy addiction are little bows and flowers to clip in her hair! I recently purchases six of these bow clips and they work so perfect in her hair! A lot of the clips in stores such as Target and Macys fall right out of her hair, but these clips stay put!! Once I get a picture of Dakota wearing one of them I will post it because she looks too cute! Here is a picture of her with another one I found on Etsy though! This one is just a little flower!

Happy Blue Eyed Baby Girl

These days our rountine is pretty much the same. Get up in the morning, take Dakota to Auntie Amy's, go to work, Daddy picks up Dakota from Auntie Amy's, and then Mommy comes home. The next couple hours of the night Daddy and Mommy just stare at Dakota and make her laugh. She is such a happy baby and her smile is too cute!

Sorry!!!

So there are a few of you that have been bothering me about not posting anything on here and I promise it isn't on purpose :) Dakota and the wedding planning have been keeping this girl very busy!!

Dakota is doing amazing and is getting sooo big! She will be 11 weeks on Sunday and I seriously can't believe how fast time has flown by! People always tell me to cherish every moment because time flies by and before your eyes your children will be all grown up! It is all so true!!

I have been officially back to work full time for three weeks now! I love being back to work and having my adult time, but do I miss my baby girl during the day! While Mommy and Daddy are at work, Dakota is at Auntie Amy's house and she is loving it! Through out the day Amy will send me pictures such as the one below and it melts my heart seeing her precious face and knowing she is having so much fun and being taken care of so well! We are so thankful for Amy and hopefully some day be able to pay her back for taking care of our little girl!

Dakota is now about 11 pounds and for length wise all I know is she is going to be a very tall girl! Her legs are so long! It's also official that she doesn't fit into any newborn clothes and even some three month stuff isn't long enough for her! She is also looks exactly like her Dad! Her blue eyes are so piercing and her blonde hair is getting long! The back of her hair actually looks like a mullet and Mommy is very confused on whether to cute it or leave it.

She is responding and focusing so well to people now! I do have to say my favorite time of the day is when I come home from work and go up to her and say "Hi Dakota did you miss Mommy" and she gives me a huge smile! It melts my heart! We are also starting to get little giggles from her!
